2026 Application Window!

Twice a year, EWELH offers the CHANGE Medical Scholarship, which awards five selected women the opportunity to attend a two-day training to receive their certification as a licensed Phlebotomy Technician.

If selected, you will attend a hands-on training conducted by the National Training Institute for Health Technicians, designed to prepare you for real-world work as a certified and licensed phlebotomist. This CHANGE Scholarship is designed to transform your life by giving you a chance to shift your trajectory toward a rewarding and sustainable career in the medical field.

Over the course of two days, you will receive intensive instruction from board-certified trainers who will teach you everything you need to know to pass the certification exam. On day two, you will take the certification exam—and you’ll know by the end of the day whether you’ve successfully passed and earned your license.
