Each month the organization awards selected women with a small monetary token based on their need. To qualify for this opportunity, you are required to complete an application. If you are selected as an award recipient, you will be notified by email.

The application widow is the first of each month to the 15.

The Fresh Start Award is a one-time support initiative created to assist women who are transitioning from temporary housing into permanent housing.

This award is designed specifically to provide essential household goods and toiletries only—helping women settle into their new space with dignity and care.

Award Details:

Covers household essentials and personal hygiene items

Examples include: laundry detergent, towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, dishwashing liquid, and cleaning supplies

No furniture

Distributed as a one-time care package .

First Class Housing Award (FCHA)

Purpose: The First Class Housing Award (FCHA) provides temporary financial support for housing costs by subsidizing a portion of an applicant’s housing expenses.

Duration: The housing subsidy is granted for a minimum of two months.

Amounts: Monthly subsidy ranges from $200 to $500, depending on individual circumstances and demonstrated financial need and funding available.

Number of Awards Extended: Varies based on available funding and the pool of qualified applicants.

First Application Window: November 1 – November 30

✔ Award Start: January 1 of the following year

Housing subsidies are paid directly to the housing provider on behalf of the recipient.
